Green Asphalt is a New York City based 100% recycled asphalt manufacturer specializing in green infrastructure and development projects. Green Asphalt also packages their RAP (recycled asphalt pavement) under the brand Patch-It. We were very excited to create both brands and packaging for this technically advanced company.

Club Pro Manufacturing has been the leader in the golf accessories and golf cart enclosures business since 1989. Romeo+Co. met Club Pro at The PGA Merchandise Show many years back and created their brand mark. Cartcovers.com designs, manufactures and sells the best quality and widest variety of golf car covers in the United States.

It was our pleasure to raise their brand story to match the products they deliver. From the brand mark, to their e-commerce site to their approachable characters, it was a please from start to finish.

These initial concept approaches are for a restaurant group that resides within a tropical resort setting. Each brand keeps in mind the distinct positioning of the different restaurant concepts.

This is simply a taste of what the client reviewed. Upon final selection and refinement for each entity, color will be explored followed by an implementation to all materials. 

Romeo+co always loves to support small, local business that engages in community spirit and Village Pilates excels at that. Located in historic Cocoa Village, Florida, Village Pilates has become a beacon of camaraderie using wellness as its center.

This proposed naming and brand strategy was for a firm that educates and trains food service professionals. The naming strategy clearly identifies the training (front of house) while the icons illustrate the four primary disciplines taught; service, table settings, food and wine. Students would be awarded an apron pin upon successfully mastering each discipline.

The descriptor "Blue Ribbon Etiquette Education" is distinct, clear and elegant while the brand palette and design are clean and refined - like their graduates. 

The folks at BCA Construction Specialties approached us to help name and brand their new product line of non-skid safety coatings. After working through our name generating process the client selected GRIPSUR.

We followed the naming phase with the brand development of the three primary product marks. Each color and textured icon base reflects the best usage for the product from extreme texture to mild texture.

Our relationship with Major League Baseball has spanned over 28 years and every project is a joy to work on. This year we were asked to develop themes for the 2017 Spring Training branding. After presenting three strong approaches, MLB selected the Camp Batterton theme.

The theme’s key criteria are anticipation, camaraderie, friendship, challenges & skills. Play well gentlemen!

Sagaponack Builders approached Romeo+Co. with a need for a new brand that better reflects their style of building and their commitment to perfection. 

We created a clean, contemporary mark that speaks of their modernist core values. The “home” element of the mark is a modern “S” and its position on the holding bar indicates the proximity of these special homes to the Atlantic Ocean.

Upon completion of the brand mark, we extended the brand style across advertising, a responsive web site, collateral, site build signage and truck wraps.

Downstream is a full service cut & sew, embroidery, silk screen, sublimation and fulfillment shop. They focus on team sports in the semi-pro, collegiate, high school and municipality markets. Manufacturing perfected uniforms for lacrosse, baseball, soccer, football, wrestling, field hockey and more is what you can expect when working with Downstream MFG & Outfitters.

Shorty’s approached Romeo+Co. when they were opening their second location. They initially only wanted production to build out their menus and such. We saw this as an opportunity to pitch a new look for the brand.

We presented five unique approaches and the one you see here was selected. The authentic look paired with a strong icon helped launch Shorty’s into a new place altogether. Upon completing the signage, menus (printed on butcher paper), merchandise line, coasters, web site and social media platforms, we were asked to design their food truck wrap.

Since the launch of the new brand, Shorty’s has opened three additional locations and is shopping for a second truck.

We have had the honor and privilege to work with Major League Baseball Properties for over 20 years. Here we show a small bit of the great design they have allowed us to develop. Honor the game.

The first yacht club built on Nantucket in over 100 years, Great Harbor Yacht Club was a tremendous undertaking. Having only the land, architectural plans and a vision, the group set out to sell memberships prior to breaking ground.

Romeo+Co. was tasked to design a member invitation package. Having little but the new logo we created to work with, we brought in our renderer to work from the site plans to build out awe inspiring images of the soon to be club.

We packaged this invitation with a 12 page brochure, renderings and floor plans. We manufactured the unique envelope from actual sail cloth with an embroidered logo at the closing point. The sales team sold out all memberships prior to the clubhouse being built.

Note: The nautical flags revealed through the cover die cuts on the brochure spell NANTUCKET.

Three successful money managers were leaving their lengthy posts at large firms to create their own wealth management company. Romeo+Co. was approached to name the company and build a vibrant brand strategy.

After many iterations through our brand name generator technique, all the partners agreed on Prosperian. Our strategy included the tag line "plan + prosper" which supports the brand name beautifully.

The visual strategy for web and collateral usage included a selection of hedge mazes. The mazes illustrate the intricacies of money management and the beauty of successful planning.

Romeo+Co. was approached to develop the new Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series primary brand as well as event badges. 

The neck of the guitar represents the long road ahead and if you look at the sound hole, you will see a runner's shoe. Once we pointed this out to the client, the brand was locked in.  

Since the launch of the new brand, the series has grown from 13 events to over 30 globally. Run like the wind!

Romeo+Co. used the custom-made blue and red wallpaper sketches of amateur athletes as the central theme for the brand mark. From there, we created merchandise, coasters, signage, match books, the entrance canopy and even assisted with creating the server uniforms. 

The entrance to SNAP is marked by baseball bat door handles. Inside, banquettes are covered in football leather with authentic stitching, a 1960s Soldier Field crowd looks down from the ceiling and the cocktails are named for defunct NY teams. Sure, all of the staples are there—sixteen flatscreen TVs, beers on tap, etc. SNAP is truly in a league of their own. A 35-foot long bar stretches along the narrow entrance; made of White American Ash, the same wood used to make a baseball bat, and displaying an embedded LED sports ticker.

With The Original Homemade Highball brand development and beverage package design we want the consumer to be taken back to a classic New York soda shop. A shop that still serves egg creams. The apothecary style label with an authentic tin ceiling background and classic typography accompanied by a subtle, elegant palette, mix to deliver a truly unique shelf identity.

This award-winning brand captures the energy of the food service professional’s busy lifestyle. The blue within the brand represents the client side “gigs” being posted while the green represents the “go” for freelance food service staff. Once naming and branding were complete, we created their interactive website to allow “gigs” on the “go”.

The Motor Sport Country Club approached Romeo+Co. to create a unique brand for a unique concept - a country club for motor sport enthusiasts. Upon developing a successful brand mark, the client was excited to explore additional avenues to build the brand. For events, we created “pit crew” shirts with a retro iconic image that was also used as a poster design for the event premises.

As interest grew, Romeo+Co. developed their website, promotional brochure, conceptual renderings and even a member watch design.

The folks at iPlanet sought out Romeo+Co. to produce a video and packaging for their new Selfie Stick product. The retail display video and new packaging were extremely well received at their next trade show - breaking sales records since the company's inception. From the success of this project, we were tasked with extending their new, fresh look across their full product line.

Utilizing custom photography, beautiful paper stocks, spot UV and custom hooks, this design style is opening many new retail avenues for our client.

When the owner of one of our favorite restaurants was planning on opening a new location to focus on Mediterranean food, specifically seafood, we were asked to develop the new brand mark and visual system.

Literally translated as “fishbone”, we wanted Lisca to transport guests to the Amalfi coast. The use of a blue palette and classic font support the light delicious menu prepared by the Lisca head chef. Nautical rope was used for the exterior signage to preserve authenticity.

The Malmo product concept offers the buyer a multitude of watch faces to choose from. Utilizing CSTN (color super-twist nematic) technology, we were able to create a watch that allows personalization via the watch face and interchangeable bands. The packaging doubles as a charging station when needed - about every 7 days. This type of thinking is what we live to do.

Our initial engagement with Roundtable Forum was to create a vibrant brand mark, collateral system, event materials and a website. As technology evolved, Romeo+Co. created an event app for a better event experience. Most recently, we had the pleasure of developing Roundtable Forum’s new responsive website.

The Roundtable Forum features a presentation format that initially proved successful in 1998 as a “closed door” investor session for a major conference company. Developed by Jane Halsey, the format is a direct response to the belief that managers and investors do not benefit from the anonymous podium and panel formats adopted by most conference companies.

Steiner Sports Memorabilia and Golf Digest approached us to redesign their "Golf Digest Hole-In-One" website. The site allows golfers who have made an ace to post their aces and purchase commemorative items that are authenticated through Steiner Sports Memorabilia. This site was in contention for "micro site of the year" which made our clients very happy. Honestly, I need to check if it won. Let me get back to you on that.
